Job Description

  • Architect and document firmware solutions for regulated medical technologies, including real‑time embedded systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance C/C++ code for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
  • Build and validate low‑level drivers, communication protocols, and control algorithms optimized for safety and precision.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues using industry-standard tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers



The Successful Applicant

A successful Sr Staff Engineer, Embedded Engineering, should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field with 8+ years of embedded development experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years.
  • Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ for constrained embedded environments.
  • Strong experience with RTOS and bare-metal firmware.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART, USB, and other communication interfaces.
  • Background in control systems and firmware for motor-driven mechanisms (stepper/DC motors)
