Job Description

  • Lead the factory's overall operations to achieve production, delivery, and quality targets in alignment with market requirements.
  • Drive adherence to SOPs, quality specifications, and regulatory norms across all manufacturing activities.
  • Oversee production planning, raw material coordination, inventory control, and effective material handling to minimize wastage.
  • Ensure implementation of strong EHS practices, good housekeeping, and compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
  • Manage preventive and routine maintenance of plant & machinery to maximize uptime and output efficiency.
  • Provide leadership to cross‑functional teams such as Production, Maintenance, QC, EHS, Logistics, and IR.
  • Handle workforce management including performance evaluations, grievance redressal, hiring decisions, and productivity initiatives.
  • Maintain operational MIS, machine output reports, SMNC control, and engage with stakeholders including government agencies and certification bodies.

Location - Gujarat

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: 15-20 years in a similar manufacturing sector with proven leadership in factory management.
  • Education: BE (Chemical).
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of machines, calibration, preventive maintenance, QC tools, Six Sigma, and problem‑solving techniques.
  • Leadership Skills: People management, conflict resolution, strategic thinking, analytical ability, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Additional Skills: Time management, communication, ability to handle ambiguity, and strong stakeholder management (internal & external).
  • System/Process Exposure: Production planning, EHS frameworks, SOP governance, inventory management, and regulatory compliance
