They provide actionable insights to drive growth, improve strategies, and optimize decision-making across industries.Job DescriptionSenior Manager - Record to Report - R2R | CA | 8 to 12 years Manage the Service Delivery for Record to Report, fixed assets accounting, Banking, Leases, including process architecture, protocols and mechanics and related governance.* Deliver all periodic services related to R2R and general financial accounting, including month-end activities, account reconciliations, periodic reporting, metrics, governance, and internal control.* Manage R2R quality metrices through service level agreements, performance metrics and continuous governance rhythm. * Act as a Single point of Contact for the stakeholders.* Deliver, standardize, and drive process efficiency in for month end close activities, banking, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliation, and financial reporting processes.* Work closely with other finance business partners to maintain best-in-class processes to bring the efficiency and consistency in the processes.* Analyze financial data, trends, and patterns to identify potential risks or opportunities for improvement.* Support the implementation of new accounting pronouncements including IFRS / US GAAP / Sox Compliance / Other regulatory changes, as required.* Review the process documentation to ensure standard operating procedures are up to date using the most recent Nielsen toolset.* Maintain an appropriate system configuration and IT environment to ensure effective and efficient execution of month end close processes.* Training and upskilling the team members with adequate competency mapping.* Performance management of Team membersThe Successful ApplicantSenior Manager - Record to Report - R2R | CA | 8 to 12 years * Qualified Accountant (CA/ CPA/ ACCA) - Mandatory * 10 + years relevant professional experience with team management in a medium to large international company. * Strong understanding of IFRS 16 is essential. * Working knowledge on lease accounting, lease management tools and relevant US GAAP is preferred.* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and manage the stakeholders.* Ability to manage team and provide clear and strategic direction to all team members.* Excellent knowledge of the statutory requirements and US GAAP / IFRS.* Working knowledge of any ERP systems (preferably SAP or Oracle).* Experience in managing a project.What's on OfferOpportunity to work with a global leader in the Business Services industry, offering a challenging role, and a chance to drive and develop your career in a supportive and professional working environment.Quote job refJN-102024-6574387Job summaryFunctionFinance & AccountingSub SectorFinancial AccountingWhat is your area of specialisation?Business ServicesLocationPuneJob TypePermanentJob ReferenceJN-102024-6574387
