Job Description

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs using Azure Fabric and Databricks.
  • Optimise data integration processes to ensure accuracy and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Implement and monitor data quality checks to maintain the integrity of datasets.
  • Work with large-scale data storage and processing systems effectively.
  • Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for structured and unstructured data.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
  • Create and showcase dashboards using PowerBI.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing tools and cloud platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is a plus.
