Job Description

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant application architectures, including APIs and front-end interfaces.
  • Build and maintain core platform components and SaaS service endpoints that power applications and analytics tools.
  • Develop best-in-class testing, automation, and deployment methodologies to enable rapid and reliable delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, FDA regulations) while enabling efficient pipelines.
  • Partner with product managers and stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and deliver features that accelerate customer insights.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Application Engineer (Tech Lead) should have:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including designing and implementing complex SaaS applications.
  • Strong experience with modern architectures such as microservices, serverless, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in frontend frameworks (e.g., React.js) and backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
  • Experience deploying enterprise SaaS products in AWS
  • Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries (healthcare, banking, defense).
  • Good to have team leadin experience.
