Job Description

Reporting to CEO you will

  • Lead the creation and management of a strong supplier network through farmer training, on boarding, and continuous engagement to ensure consistent and long-term feed stock availability.
  • Oversee the selection, localisation, and deployment of post-harvest equipment (e.g., balers, rakers), and manage warehouse operations to ensure safe, compliant storage of Agri-residue.
  • Implement strict quality control protocols for feed stock and manage end-to-end logistics from farm collection to bio gas units, ensuring cost-effective and reliable delivery.
  • Develop large-scale Agri-residue sourcing strategies to meet production targets while reducing operational costs through mechanisation, digital tools, and vendor performance management.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE and sustainability standards, collaborate across departments, and drive continuous improvement by integrating market trends and technological advancements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful SCM Head - Agri Residue should have:

  • MBA in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
  • 18+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain leadership roles managing complex, high-volume Agri-residue sourcing operations.
  • Experience implementing mechanisation and digital initiatives in agricultural or bio energy supply chains.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier ecosystem development, feed stock quality management, and large-scale logistics optimisation.
