Job Description

  • Experience in SAP HANA DB Management with focus on SAP S/4 HANA
  • Manage and maintain SAP HANA databases ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Perform regular system monitoring, backups, and recovery tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Implement upgrades, patches, and enhancements to SAP HANA systems as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related requirements.
  • Ensure database security and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Document processes and maintain system configuration records for future reference.

The Successful Applicant

A successful SAP HANA DB Administrator should have:

  • A strong educational background in technology or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in managing SAP HANA databases.
  • SAP HANA Database Administration and Management SAP HANA DB Housekeeping, Log & Trace Analysis
  • SAP Basis Knowledge
  • Knowledge of database troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
  • Implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity
  • Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues, including performance problems, connectivity issues, and data inconsistencies
  • Planning and executing database upgrades and applying necessary patches to ensure the database system is up-to-date and secure
  • Check log and trace files for errors, enable traces when and where required
  • Handle escalation of critical system issues and ensure timely resolution with vendor
