The Regional Sales Head - West will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales roadmap to drive revenue and market share growth in the assigned region. This role requires a seasoned leader to manage a large sales team, optimize distribution channels, and ensure business objectives are achieved.

Our client is a large Indian conglomerate with a strong presence in the chemical and polymers industry. They are a market leader known for their innovative products and extensive distribution network across the country. They are looking for a senior leader to join their team and drive aggressive growth in a key business unit.

Job Description

  • Create and implement a regional sales strategy for the additives, resins, solvents, and polymers segments.
  • Lead and manage a sales team of 10-12 professionals to achieve business targets.
  • Manage both distributor and direct customer sales with a balanced focus.
  • Conduct sales planning and analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical services.
  • Oversee collections and ensure timely payments.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Uphold and ensure compliance with workplace safety, IMS, and ESG standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 15 years of sales experience in the chemical, plastic, or polymer industry.
  • Proven track record of handling a business size of ₹350 crores or more.
  • Balanced experience in both distributor sales and direct customer sales.
  • Strong team-handling experience, ideally managing a team of 10-12 people.
  • Mandatory post-graduate qualification (MBA or equivalent).
  • Experience in key account management is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable with Andheri (Mumbai) as the base location.
