Job Description

  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks to optimise manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop tailored solutions.
  • Analyse existing systems and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automation architecture.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members within the technology department.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems and processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure seamless operation in the semi-conductor industry.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends relevant to automation and the industrial sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Automation Architect should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks relevant to the manufacturing industry.
  • Previously worked as a developer building enterprise applications.
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation, such as Python or Java.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements for automation systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
