Job Description

  • Responsible for sales growth in the region and focus sector
  • Map the market and maintain a market intelligence of customers in the region and develop a prioritized target customer list and focus sales effort to penetrate and grow the target customers
  • Drive conversations with accounts to identify unmet customer logistics needs, beyond stated needs and identify the relevant solution(s) that can deliver value to the client
  • Support the Solution Architect in developing customized solutions for complicated logistics need
  • Effective value based selling of integrated solutions and managing the profitability of the business
  • Manage the allocation of sales resources to ensure achievement of country/product/industry objectives/targets
  • Build strong client relationships by ensuring adequate customer stakeholder interactions across customer hierarchy
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through good delivery governance by closely working with delivery teams
  • Adapt in using sales digital tools -CRM / ERP / pricing tools

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven sales track record in logistics/ FMCG/ FMCD industry with 5+ years of experience in India
  • Relevant knowledge of service solutions across the logistic value chain
  • Experience in solution selling as opposed to price/product selling
  • Relevant domain logistics expertise within specific sector
  • Excellent communication, team management & interpersonal skills
