Job Description

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and directing research and development programs to support new product development and enhancement initiatives
  • Developing and implementing R&D processes, methodologies, and technical standards
  • Overseeing complex research projects, ensuring timely delivery within defined budgets
  • Leading feasibility studies, monitoring project progress, and proactively resolving technical challenges
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Driving innovation using advanced technologies across electrical, mechanical, and process engineering domains
  • Managing customer technical queries and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Leading prototype development, sample planning, and manufacturing readiness
  • Managing R&D budgets, forecasts, and resource planning
  • Supporting RFQs, technical proposals, cost estimations, and BOM creation

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading R&D teams within manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Electrical and power electronics design
    • Mechanical design and modelling (e.g., SolidWorks)
    • Magnetic and thermal simulations (ANSYS, Maxwell, Icepack)
    • Analog, digital, and signal electronics
  • Hands-on experience with DFMEA, risk analysis, and product lifecycle management
