Job Description

  • Define and implement the Quality Strategy across sourcing, processing, packaging, storage, logistics, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain QA/QC frameworks, SOPs, and metrics aligned with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000 standards.
  • Lead quality audits across multiple facilities (owned and partner sites) to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams to troubleshoot quality issues and enhance product standards.
  • Establish strong consumer feedback loops to proactively enhance quality benchmarks.
  • Own and manage all regulatory and compliance-related audits and documentation.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a geographically distributed team of quality professionals.
  • Drive innovation in food safety, shelf-life extension, and freshness retention through technology adoption and process optimization

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+years of experience in Food Quality & Safety, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in perishables industries-such as meat, dairy, seafood, fresh produce or FMCG
  • Strong working knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000, and other food safety standards.
  • Proven ability to scale QA systems in a high-volume, multi-city supply chain
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration and team development
