The Quality Head will oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality within the Engineering & Manufacturing department, focusing on special machines in the industrial/manufacturing industry. This role is based in Mumbai and requires expertise in quality control processes and manufacturing standards.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement quality control systems for special machines in the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to address quality issues.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards in Mumbai facilities.
  • Oversee internal and external audits related to quality assurance.
  • Train and guide staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Head should have:

  • A relevant degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of quality assurance and control in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
  • Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector, particularly in special machines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
