The role requires strong expertise in procurement processes and supplier management to support operational excellence.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely sourcing of materials and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to meet production requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for procurement activities, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the supply chain.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all procurement transactions.
  • Stay updated on market trends and innovations to enhance procurement practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Purchase Lead should have:

  • A degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience to organise and lead entire Capex tendering process
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills to drive cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Market analysis (Supply & demand balance) and market intelligence (competitors, suppliers, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving operational goals.
