About Our Client
Our client is a Global leader in Medical device manufacturing, with a large commercial and R&D setup in Delhi NCR
Job Description
- Prepares project plans & schedules by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and by working with appropriate resources to understand tasks necessary to complete project
- * Supports / leads project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans
- * Supports / Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings (manage project documentation, set up and conduct meetings/calls and document meeting minutes)
- * Resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate
- * Consults with internal project team/s by sharing project management knowledge and assist / guide project team members in project management processes and techniques
- * Participates in external project management organisations, conferences and seminars to keep current with industry best practices in project management by joining professional associations and implementing a professional development plan with focus on project management
- * Collaborate well with internal teams to build positive relationship and partner to deliver project outcomes
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- * 7-9 years of Shared Services/Global Business Services experience in Program Management
- * Superior problem-solving skills, communication and team/interpersonal skills. Outstanding ability to diagnose problems which could be related to process, technology, strategy or people and put in place actions/measures
- * PC literacy: ability to quickly learn and productively use new software applications
- * IT technical skills: must understand the underlying technical aspects of implementation large scale technology programs which support global process improvements
- * International experience - Self-awareness of communication styles and cultural / global differences
- * Shared Services Experience: Service management, operational metrics and scorecards, and experience within a progressive global shared service operating model (preferred)
- * Language: Fluent in English. An additional language is an asset
Hands-on experience of managing projects (end-to-end) independently, or with support
* Functional knowledge of key business Finance processes & transformation projects (order to cash, source to pay, record to report, hire to retire)
* Technical skills: Full life-cycle Business process improvement methodology (including lean Six Sigma). ERP experience (SAP preferred). Global implementation experience
* Sound knowledge of any Project/Program Management methodology - Agile, SCRUM, PMP
* Excellent hands-on experience in MS Applications - MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Project etc Facilitate issue escalations and resolution via coordinating solution across the project team, steering committee, and key business stakeholders
* Make continuous improvement recommendations
* Ability to manage and inspire a cross-functional project teams
