Job Description

Reporting to the Director - Asset Management (APAC), you will:

  • Lead planning, engineering, and execution of major capital investment projects at the Mahad site
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams, EPCM partners, contractors, and global stakeholders
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget, and safe delivery of projects aligned with internal standards and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee permit applications, detailed engineering, procurement, site construction, and mechanical completion
  • Support the Commissioning and Start-Up (CSU) team post mechanical completion and drive project closeout
  • Engage with external authorities, internal technical groups, site operations, and global teams for stakeholder alignment
  • Implement PEP frameworks to manage project risks, resources, and reporting
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and optimizing future project execution



The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering; Master's preferred
  • Has 15-20 years of experience in the chemical industry, with a strong track record in managing brownfield CAPEX projects
  • Demonstrates expertise in project planning, engineering design, process safety, and construction management
  • Brings experience in managing EPCM partners and global engineering teams
  • Is certified in PMP or equivalent project management frameworks
  • Possesses strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Experience with emergency management and regulatory liaison is an added advantage
