The VP Project Execution will lead project execution (including CAPEX vetting before finalization, Execution of all Projects across all site, Cost & Time control of all site execution).
  • Candidate must have executed projects valued over ₹500 Cr.
  • Only candidates with Mechanical Engineering degree with 20+ yrs of experience

Job Description

  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with procurement and supply chain strategies.
  • Vetting of all CAPEX proposal from execution angle and take ownership of cost and time element once its approved from site execution phase. i.e involved in the complete Coordination with procurement For Receipt of Material till PSSR points clearance and Plant ready for Production Trials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Support site project team by aligning with Procurement team for timely delivery of all key items & equipment.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
  • Introduce new innovative techniques in Site execution to Optimize time and resource employed in Projects
  • The finalization of all Contractual agencies at Site from quality, delivery, safety and performance.
  • Settlement of bills of contractual agencies and payments as per the accepted company practice
  • Foster relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure cost-effective and timely solutions.
  • Lead a team to achieve organisational goals, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting key project milestones and outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 20 yrs of experience in managing greenfield/brownfield projects worth more than 500crs.
  • Experience working in chemical industry
  • Should have led team of 30-40
