Job Description

  • Offer legal counsel on regulatory and compliance matters specific to IT/ITeS sector.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Provide risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate legal risks.
  • Support the resolution of legal disputes and liaise with external legal advisors when necessary.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and advise on their potential impact on the business.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and legal frameworks.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in law or equivalent qualifications relevant to the legal field
  • 6 - 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in handling legal matters within the IT/ITeS industry
  • Experience in a Software Product industry is a must
