Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end production operations for the TPU Films division.
  • Drive operational excellence, throughput improvement, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Oversee compounding, extrusion, and polymerization processes for specialty TPU films.
  • Manage scale-up projects, technology transfers, and plant debottlenecking initiatives.
  • Partner with R&D, supply chain, maintenance, and quality teams for seamless operations.
  • Champion Industry 4.0, automation, and digital manufacturing practices.
  • Lead large teams across shifts, fostering a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical, Polymer, Mechanical, or Production Engineering; M.Tech / MBA preferred.
  • Brings 18-22 years of relevant production experience, including 12-15 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Deep knowledge of polymer processing (extrusion, compounding, pelletizing) and TPU chemistry.
  • Experienced in commissioning new lines, managing greenfield/brownfield expansions, and delivering OEE improvements.
  • Skilled in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and sustainability practices.
  • Strong decision-maker with proven ability to build and manage large teams.
