Job Description

  • Provide support to market units on product quality and compliance matters.
  • Ensure local products meet regional and national regulations, industry standards, health and safety requirements, internal policies, and customer quality expectations.
  • Oversee product quality case management, reporting, claim handling, deviation reporting, sales stops, and recalls.
  • Contribute to business planning by integrating product quality and compliance insights for future strategic direction.
  • Foster strong collaboration and knowledge sharing across functions to ensure end-to-end product quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Promote an open, values-driven culture, acting as a role model and contributing to overall organizational transformation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualifications in Law, Sales, Business Management, or relevant experience would be preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Compliance/Product Quality.
  • Experience in retail, commercial, and strategic business planning, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
  • Skilled in managing change and leading teams in a complex business environment.
  • Have a strong understanding of safe and compliant products and their role in driving business growth.
  • Skilled in assessing and mitigating risks within a business environment.
  • Experienced in evaluating and ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Deep understanding of the complexity of the business and the critical role of quality and compliance.
