Job Description

  • Work closely with the Integrations & Extensibility team to define and implement the product roadmap for integrations, APIs, and extensibility features.
  • Ensure the platform integrates with widely-used enterprise applications (such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Workday) while providing flexibility for customers to build and manage their own integrations.
  • Develop frameworks enabling customers to create custom micro-apps and extend platform functionality seamlessly.
  • Lead the development of API management solutions, SDKs, and developer portals to simplify integration with Simpplr and third-party systems.
  • Translate customer use cases into product requirements, focusing on scalable, modular, and extensible solutions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to ensure platform extensibility is technically feasible, high-performing, and scalable.
  • Define metrics to track the success and adoption of integrations, developer tools, and custom micro-apps.
  • Serve as the expert on integrations and developer tools, offering support to internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Stay updated on trends in APIs, developer ecosystems, and extensibility, applying that knowledge to improve the product.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive adoption, educate users, and ensure smooth experiences for technical and non-technical customers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management focused on developer tools, APIs, integrations, or extensibility.
  • Hands-on software engineering experience with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience building API-driven platforms, custom SDKs, and developer ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and how to extend platforms with custom micro-apps.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and secure integration authentication models.
  • Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their interaction with backend APIs.
  • Experience working with diverse third-party integrations, including frameworks for custom integrations.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical requirements into user-friendly product features.
  • Experience in agile development environments, including backlog grooming and sprint planning.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to define and track KPIs for continuous product improvem
