Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsOpportunity to work in a fast growing global EPCDevelop and implement procurement strategiesAbout Our ClientGlobal Renewable Energy EPC/IPPJob DescriptionProcurement Strategy & ExecutionDevelop procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.Oversee end-to-end sourcing for solar modules, inverters, transformers, transmission line materials, and Balance of System (BOS) components.Ensure timely procurement of materials and services, mitigating project delays and cost overruns.Vendor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors across categories such as solar equipment, transformers, transmission components, and logistics.Build and nurture long-term vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality and service levels.Conduct regular vendor performance reviews based on delivery, quality, pricing, and compliance.Develop alternative sourcing plans to reduce single-vendor dependency and supply chain risks.Negotiation & ContractingLead commercial negotiations to secure best-value deals, long-term pricing agreements, and favourable contract terms.Finalise procurement contracts, NDAs, and service-level agreements with vendors and subcontractors.Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with engineering, project execution, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs.Coordinate with site teams to ensure materials are delivered and installed per project schedules.Cost, Risk & Compliance ManagementMonitor market trends, vendor developments, and price fluctuations to guide procurement decisions.Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and company policies.Maintain procurement documentation, reports, and vendor databases.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is preferred.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement within Solar EPCs, IPPs, Power EPCs, or transformer/transmission line procurement.Strong vendor management and relationship-building abilitiesProven negotiation and commercial acumenExcellent knowledge of supply chain processes, documentation, and contract managementProficiency in procurement tools and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Strong project management, communication, and analytical skillsWhat's on OfferOpportunity to contribute to a leading renewable energy company driving the global transition to clean power.Dynamic and collaborative work environment.Professional development and growth opportunities.Quote job refJN-062025-6770097Job summaryFunctionProcurement & Supply ChainSub SectorProcurement ManagementWhat is your area of specialisation?Energy & Natural ResourcesLocationDelhiJob TypePermanentJob ReferenceJN-062025-6770097
