Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals and ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal terms.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and establish priorities.
  • Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards in all procurement activities.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve performance targets.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sr. Procurement Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree of Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role and Data Center industry experience is must.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data effectively.
  • Experience in ERP systems and procurement software tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing budgets and cost control measures.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing procurement teams.
