A newly setup Secondaries Private Equity fund based in Mumbai is looking to add a Principal/VP in their investments team

About Our Client

Our client is a Singapore headquartered PE Fund which is looking to expand its India team. They invest in Secondaries PE transactions and Fund of Funds.

Job Description

  • Lead the origination, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities in the private equity space.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the fund's goals.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessments for potential investments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, entrepreneurs, and industry partners.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in fundraising activities and contribute to the firm's overall growth strategy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Principal/VP should have:

  • Prior experience of 10-15 years in private equity, growth venture capital or transaction advisory teams of business consulting firms
  • Experience of managing multiple transactions end-to-end from sourcing, execution and exits
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to identifying and executing investment opportunities.
