About Our Client

  • Responsibility for updating, upgrading and bug fixing for existing and created function blocks and libraries
  • Creating corresponding user documentation of the PLC libraries, programs and function blocks
  • Investigate and evaluate problems and develop solution proposals involving the use of components and systems in various PLC environments

Job Description

  • Completed study of mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Strong skills and practice with PLC programming - experience with Codesys or Twincat3 is advantageous
  • Good knowledge of high-level programming languages (Python, TypeScript, …) and industrial fieldbus protocols is desirable

The Successful Applicant

  • Practical experience with manual and automated testing is an advantage
  • Very good technical understanding and sound knowledge of electric automation and mechatronic systems is advantageous
  • Well-developed problem-solving competence, as well as customer and team orientation
  • Willingness to pursue continuous further training
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English - skill in German language are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel and accept temporary assignments abroad
