With a strong legacy in precision engineering, the organisation is strengthening its Bengaluru manufacturing facility to integrate closely with its European supply chain, enhance aerospace-grade capabilities, and support long-term global demand.

Job Description

  • Reporting directly to the Board, you will lead the Bengaluru manufacturing facility and drive its full integration into the European supply chain.
  • You will execute the site integration roadmap, align operations with European standards, and oversee capacity expansion while acting as the primary interface between India and European leadership on WIP, bottlenecks, and material risks.
  • Lead end-to-end work transfer from the Europe including procurement, planning, capacity management, FAIR, and delivery, while managing the phased exit from other-customer work.
  • Drive capability development across CNC machining, tooling, fixturing, GD&T, quality systems, and certifications to meet aerospace-grade precision standards.
  • Own financial control including operational budgets, CapEx planning, cost-per-part targets, workforce planning, risk management, compliance with Indian labour and HSE regulations, and long-term succession planning.

The Successful Applicant

  • Engineering graduate with 10+ years of aerospace or precision CNC manufacturing experience, including hands-on exposure to machining, tooling, industrialisation, FAI, and GD&T.
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Plant Head in India with full P&L responsibility, CapEx planning, and supply chain development exposure.
  • Strong track record of managing work transfer from Western OEMs, integrating captive facilities, and aligning operations to global standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk, build capability, scale teams, and bridge Western corporate governance with Indian manufacturing execution.
