About Our Client

Our client is a fast growing international organisation in the consumer electronics space with a host of their products catering to the audio segment. They are a rapidly expanding organisation in India with an eye towards growing phenomenally in the competitive space. They are looking for a Marketing Manager who would lead the retail and online marketing for the organisation with well thought through and executed strategies.

Job Description

The incumbent would report into the Marketing Head (APAC) and would be responsible for the following:

  • Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
  • Develop and implement annual marketing strategy and plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions and other marketing projects
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
  • Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives and market research to determine market requirements
  • Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies/materials
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets
  • Develop sales forecasting and product branding plans
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Monitor industry best practices and costs and budgets
  • Work with sales teams and e-commerce team to align on brand initiatives and strategies
  • Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management
  • Build, manage and supervise a high performing marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules and deadlines
  • Oversee the operation of a company's website or email marketing program and provide analytics review
  • Report on return on investment and key performance metrics

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant should have at least 8 years of extensive experience in Marketing (Offline & Online )Strategy in the Consumer space, specificially Consumer Electronics and an overall understanding of the different segments and channels for the industry in India. He/she should have an analytic approach towards understanding and solving problems and have a proven experience in driving and leveraging people skills and motivations.
