Job Description



  • Lead Logistics & Freight Procurement Strategy
    Develop and execute procurement strategies for logistics and freight across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with operational goals for food delivery, quick commerce, and other operational needs.


  • Contract Negotiations & Supplier Management
    Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with logistics service providers, ensuring cost-efficiency, reliability, and scalability across various business lines.


  • Cost Optimization & Savings Initiatives
    Drive cost-saving initiatives, identify opportunities for procurement efficiencies, and ensure continuous improvements in freight operations while maintaining high service levels.


  • Supplier Diversity & Performance Management
    Expand and diversify the supplier base, ensuring high-quality performance from vendors, and implement metrics to monitor and assess supplier performance.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, finance, operations, and technology, to ensure seamless procurement integration and alignment with overall business objectives.


  • Compliance & Sustainability Initiatives
    Ensure procurement activities adhere to compliance frameworks and support sustainability goals, including the adoption of green procurement practices and optimizing the environmental impact of logistics operations.


  • Budget Management & Reporting
    Manage and oversee logistics procurement budgets, track savings, and provide regular reports to senior leadership on procurement performance and key metrics.


  • Team Leadership & Development
    Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong 7+ years of background in managing procurement for logistics and freight across multiple business units, with a focus on cost optimization and supplier management.
  • Experience leading teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders across functions like operations, finance, and logistics to achieve business goals and improve supply chain efficiency.
