We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to oversee legal matters and ensure compliance. The role is based in Mumbai and requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in legal processes and regulations related to the Hospitality sector.

Job Description

  • Draft, review, and finalize commercial agreements such as management contracts, vendor deals, leases, NDAs, and procurement documents.
  • Advise business teams across operations, finance, HR, procurement, and development.
  • Handle litigation and disputes, coordinate with external counsel, and manage case strategies.
  • Research and provide guidance on corporate, labor, real estate, and IP matters.
  • Support compliance programs, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Assist with due diligence and documentation for projects, acquisitions, and restructuring.
  • Maintain organized legal records and contract repositories.
  • Deliver practical legal advice balancing risk and business objectives.
  • Background in hospitality, real estate, or premium service industries will be an add-on.
  • Familiarity with compliance processes, intellectual property matters, and property-related documentation will be a plus.

The Successful Applicant

An ideal Legal Counsel should have:

  • Law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
  • 5-6 years of experience in a corporate legal team or law firm.
  • Solid knowledge of contract, corporate, labor laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage legal matters independently.
