The hiring company is a well-established organisation operating within the pharmaceutical industry. They are known for their expertise in manufacturing and marketing India Formulations, International Generics, and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) across the globe.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all legal operations within the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and industry-specific laws.
  • Must have DPCO and Drugs and Cosmetics Act experience.
  • Must have supported the sales and marketing function.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on business matters.
  • Handle litigation and dispute resolution processes effectively.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks.



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in law (LLB or equivalent qualification).
  • 8-10 years post qualification experience.
  • Experience in the legal department of a pharmaceutical or life sciences organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and regulatory laws.
  • Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
  • Attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
