The candidate will oversee legal operations within the factory setup and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. This role requires an individual with expertise in legal matters specific to the FMCG industry, preferably within the food sector.
  • Only candidates based out of/open to relocate to Lalru, Punjab.
  • Only candidates with 6 to 10 years post qualification experience should apply.

Job Description

  • Ensure legal compliance and risk management for the food manufacturing plant by overseeing applicable laws, documentation systems, litigation processes, and driving collaboration on audits, controls, and process improvements.
  • Lead legal and compliance dispute resolution and crisis management involving consumers, authorities, competitors, and other stakeholders related to factory operations.
  • Manage, draft, and negotiate complex commercial contracts including sales, distribution, and service agreements.
  • Drive implementation and continuous improvement of compliance programs and business policies at plant locations, including training, communication, and monitoring emerging legal trends to strengthen a culture of compliance.
  • Develop, adapt, and implement global security policies and standards.



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • An LLB degree.
  • Experience in handling legal matters within the FMCG or food sector.
  • Strong knowledge of factory compliance laws and regulations in India.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in handling legal documentation and processes.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to legal challenges.
