Our client is a well-established, large organization operating in the retail and fashion/apparel industry. They are known for their extensive product portfolio and market presence, offering a stable and professional work environment.

Job Description

  • Provide legal counsel to the regional business teams including contracts such as lease deeds, leave and license agreements, franchisee agreements etc
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Manage disputes including consumer disputes and coordinate with external counsel
  • Conduct legal risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance policies and legal frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal challenges effectively.
  • Support compliance training initiatives to promote awareness of legal standards and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Legal Lead - West should have:

  • A degree in law from a recognised institution and 10+ years of experience ideally in the retail industry or allied industries like real estate
  • experience with consumer disputes
  • Team management experience
