Job Description

  • Develop and implement legal strategies that align with business objectives
  • Advise senior management on legal risks and opportunities related to the industry.
  • Oversee compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation to protect the company's interests.
  • Lead dispute resolution and litigation efforts while working with external legal counsel when required.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and innovation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in Law from a recognised institution with at-least ten years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a legal team.
  • Experience in managing high-stakes litigation and dispute resolution.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and external counsel.
