The client is one of the leading Indian conglomerates which has a presence in the Renewable Energy domain. They are growing exponentially and are looking to hire a leader for business development with clients in the utility space.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth at a pan-India level
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients in the utility space in the renewable energy domain
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery
  • Prepare detailed business proposals, presentations, and sales reports
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
  • Provide insights and feedback to enhance product offerings and market strategies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead - Business Development should have:

  • A degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in sales and business development with utility sector clients in the renewable energy domain
  • Atleast 12+ years of experience in the renewable energy domain with an experience of working with IPPs
  • Strong experience in managing FDRE, RTC and Peak Power Tenders. Candidates should also have an exposure to BESS projects
  • Should have an experience of managing relationships with grid operators and liaison with state and central govt agencies
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • A solid understanding of market trends and client needs at a pan-India level
  • Experience in building and managing client relationships effectively
