Job Description

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of software systems.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards across the team.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical skills.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their potential for implementation.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for future reference.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Java Tech Lead should have:

  • A strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Expertise in version control tools such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
