About Our Client
Our client is a major player in the metallurgy sector. Organized around several related activities, it has diversified its know-how and built expertise recognized by the market. To support the development of its activities and its strong growth in Morocco and internationally, we are recruiting an Industrial Director.
Reporting to the Group's Chief Executive Officer, you lead and organize the Foundry Business Unit, which is the main activity of this leading metallurgy specialist, mainly in the areas of abrasion and corrosion.
A true leader, you organize industrial activities around the development of new products, the rationalization of costs and the increase in customer satisfaction.
Your added value will result in the establishment of processes of operational excellence and continuous improvement, by supporting and deploying the industrial strategy to achieve the objectives set by the General Management in terms of costs, quality and deadlines.
You have extensive experience in CNC machining of patterns, in small and medium batch chemical molding, induction melting, heat treatment of steel and ferrous metals as well as quality measurement acc. specifications. Your vast experience in the Foundry Methods function will allow you to evolve this service to the level of excellence required for the development of our client. As such, knowledge of CAD and simulation software is desired to enable you to accelerate the launch of prototypes and interact effectively with the CNC machine shop.
As manager of new works and maintenance, you propose the necessary investments to optimize the production tool, define the industrial organization and support the strong growth of the activity.
You manage the activity by accompanying your teams through performance indicators, to ensure compliance with the standards of excellence established by you.
You develop and follow the operating budget of the BU.
You ensure a technological watch to anticipate the technological evolutions expected by the market.
The Successful Applicant
Superior technical training, you are ideally from a large engineering school with a specialization in the foundry of steel and iron.
You have at least 10 years of experience in the foundry industry of steel and cast iron.
During your career, you have already managed and supervised activities within a foundry. You justify an experience in a managerial position, acquired at the head of a Production Department.
