Job Description

  • HSE Strategy and Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices tailored to construction site environments.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, and audits across all sites to identify and mitigate potential hazards, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Training and Awareness: Design and conduct safety training programs for all site staff, subcontractors, and visitors, ensuring a high level of HSE knowledge and practice adherence.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence of safety incidents.
  • Collaboration with Site Teams: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure safety standards are effectively integrated into daily operations.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports on HSE compliance, audits, and site performance, ensuring readiness for external inspections or audits.



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong background in health, safety, and environment management within the construction or contracting industry, with 10-20 years of experience.
  • A deep understanding of construction site operations and risk management is essential.
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in HSE regulations are key for success in this role.
