As the HR Operations Lead, you will be a critical member of a lean and high-impact HR team reporting directly to the Group CHRO. This role focuses on managing and transforming global HR operations, with a particular emphasis on plant-level HR and compliance across European geographies.

Job Description

HR Operations & Shared Services



  • Provide expert guidance on end-to-end employee lifecycle management across multiple countries to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.


  • Lead global payroll operations, collaborating closely with Finance to guarantee timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery.


  • Standardize and optimize HR shared services processes across the company's European and US footprint.


  • Support enterprise-wide HR projects such as system rollouts, process automation, and shared services expansion.



Compliance, Governance & Process Excellence



  • Benchmark global HR operational practices to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.


  • Collaborate with HR technology teams to digitize workflows and enhance data accuracy and reporting.


  • Work alongside Legal and regional HR leaders to ensure alignment on compliance with local labor laws, including GDPR and other data privacy regulations.


  • Monitor and uphold operational compliance across India, Europe, and key global markets.



Strategic HR Partnership



  • Develop strong partnerships with plant leaders, business heads, and integration teams to translate evolving business priorities into effective HR strategies.


  • Support the design and rollout of talent management, performance frameworks, and employee engagement initiatives worldwide.


  • Review and refine employee grievance mechanisms and issue resolution processes.



M&A Support



  • Lead HR due diligence focusing on compensation, benefits, and payroll during acquisitions.


  • Recommend and drive HR integration, process alignment, and shared services onboarding post-merger.


  • Oversee employee contracts and support onboarding and retention efforts.

The Successful Applicant



  • 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in HR operations, payroll management, compliance, and shared services.


  • Mandatory exposure to HR legislation and practices in the EU and broader European region.


  • Experience supporting manufacturing or plant environments is highly desirable.


  • Strong analytical and process benchmarking skills with the ability to recommend and implement improvements.


  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.


  • Hands-on experience in cross-border M&A HR activities is a distinct advantage.


  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and globally distributed environment.
  • Lead HR operations with a strong focus on M&A-from Day 1 readiness to post-merger integration-across international geographies
