The Head of HR will lead the entire HR function end-to-end, covering Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, HR Operations, Payroll, Learning, and Culture. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and requires strong transformation experience, high stakeholder influence, and comfort operating in evolving, ambiguous environments.

Job Description

1. HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and implement the long-term people strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Partner with CXOs and senior leadership teams to drive organisational priorities.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing HR teams across all verticals.



2. Full-Stack HR Ownership (Hire → Retire)

  • Own the complete employee lifecycle including workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, development, engagement, and exit.
  • Strengthen HR operations-payroll accuracy, compliance, audits, MIS, and lifecycle governance.
  • Standardise and scale HR processes across multiple delivery centres and project environments.



3. Talent Acquisition Leadership

  • Lead the TA function to ensure predictable hiring across technical, operational, and leadership roles.
  • Build and refine the hiring engine to support project-based staffing needs and fluctuating talent demand.
  • Drive employer branding, workforce planning, and leadership hiring effectiveness.



4. HR Transformation & Organisation Development

  • Lead PMS redesign, competency modelling, and performance frameworks aligned to project-based delivery.
  • Drive HR technology implementations and upgrades-HRMS, automation, analytics reporting.
  • Oversee organisational design initiatives including structures, spans & layers, and role clarity.
  • Lead structured change management during scale, restructuring, or process redesign phases.



5. Capability Building & Culture

  • Build learning programs for managers, project leaders, and technical teams.
  • Drive culture initiatives that strengthen collaboration, accountability, and performance orientation.
  • Develop leadership programs, succession planning, and talent reviews.
  • Embed employee experience frameworks and engagement mechanisms.



6. Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with senior leadership across business units, project teams, and support functions.
  • Influence decisions through data, insights, and people analytics.
  • Navigate matrix environments and manage cross-functional expectations effectively.



The Successful Applicant

Must-Have Experience

  • 15+ years of HR experience post-MBA in HR from a reputed institute.
  • Proven end-to-end HR leadership across TA, HRBP, HR Ops, Payroll, L&D, Compliance.
  • Experience leading HR transformation projects-PMS redesign, HR tech, policy frameworks, OD.
  • Strong exposure to multi-site operations, preferably in tech, engineering, or project-based environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in evolving, fast-changing setups.
  • Experience leading teams of 10+ professionals across HR verticals.



Preferred Background

  • Experience in tech services, project-based delivery organisations, GCCs, co-working, real estate services, engineering services, or multi-location operations.
  • Exposure to frontline + corporate workforce blends.
  • Strong HR analytics and systems orientation.



Education

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources.
