Job Description

Reporting to the promoters, the person will be responsible for:

  • Strategy & Leadership: Developing and executing supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals. Also driving digital transformation and automation initiatives
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement meeting internal quality standards; Managing supplier relationships - negotiation and contract management. Also monitoring supplier performance and implementing supplier development programs
  • Logistics & Distribution: Overseeing domestic and international logistics operation; optimizing freight and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Inventory & Warehousing: Maintaining optimal inventory levels; ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate warehouse operations
  • Demand & Supply Planning: Collaborating with cross-functional teams for accurate forecasting and supply-demand balance.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring regulatory compliance; identifying and mitigating supply chain risks
  • Cost Optimization & Performance: Driving continuous improvement; monitoring KPIs like OTIF, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and cost metrics.

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate will have 15+ years of Supply Chain and Procurement experience across Battery, Chemical, Automotive, Electronics or relevant industry. They should have hands-on experience in Metal trading, importing electronics and understanding trade agreements. They should be proficient in ERP systems, supply chain tools an process improvement methodologies. They should also have an understanding of capital equipment procurement.
