Job Description

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize procurement and logistics processes.
  • Manage supplier relationships, focusing on quality, cost, and timely delivery.
  • Ensure effective inventory management to meet production demands without overstocking.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement and supply chain team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all supply chain activities.
  • Implement advanced technologies and tools to enhance supply chain operations in the Metal Industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head SCM should have:

  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management of steel.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and guide a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of machining and stamping processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy.
