The role is responsible for building and executing sourcing strategies for appearance parts, ensuring supply continuity, cost efficiency, and alignment with product launches. The candidate will manage global vendor partnerships, drive localisation and innovation, oversee demand and inventory planning, and lead cost reduction and budgeting initiatives.
  • Candidates with 12+ yrs exp. in sourcing large vol SKUs & multiple vendors
  • People managers with sourcing experience across China and Hong Kong preferred

Job Description

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for appearance components globally. Ensure supply continuity, cost optimization, and risk mitigation through supplier analysis and capacity planning.
  • Demand and Inventory Management: Align sourcing volumes with business forecasts and product launch timelines. Monitor inventory health and drive corrective actions to minimize aged and excess stock.
  • Innovation and Localisation: Collaborate with vendors to introduce new features and improve sourcing processes. Support localisation efforts by identifying & building domestic capabilities.
  • Vendor Partnering and Cost Management: Strengthen supplier ties, develop alternate sources, and drive cost reduction, pricing, and budgeting to meet material cost targets.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate brings 12-15+ years of experience in direct material sourcing across consumer lifestyle or manufacturing-driven industries. They've led large vendor ecosystems, managed 1000+ SKU portfolios, and driven cost and quality outcomes.

They must have strong skills in negotiation, costing, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience in team leadership, compliance, and strategic planning will set them apart.
