Our client is an internationally recognized organization in the industrial manufacturing sector, particularly in the development of special machines for the textile industry. They have a large presence with a workforce exceeding 5000 employees.

Job Description

  • Drive the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
  • Build and manage a top-performing software development team.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of high-quality software for industrial machines.
  • Establish and stimulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality software.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in C, C++, Java, .NET, React for web applications, and Devops.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage large teams (50+ people) and run software factories efficiently.
  • Strategic Planning: Skilled in capacity planning and building global development teams.
  • High-Level Communication: Experience in engaging with CEOs of billion-dollar companies and driving product excellence

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Software Development should have:

  • 10-15 years of overall experience in software development and team management.
  • Exposure to managing global stakeholders is a must
  • Open to Pune as a location, WFO.
  • Candidate should come with experience - working in product based GCCs in the past.
