Job Description

  • Develop and execute AI automation strategies to enhance manufacturing efficiency within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimisation and digital transformation.
  • Oversee the implementation of AI-focused solutions tailored to the life sciences industry.
  • Monitor the performance of automated processes and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Cooperative with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals and industry standards.
  • Provide expertise in smart operations to enable the company's growth and innovation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all automation initiatives.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in AI and smart operations to maintain a competitive edge.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Smart Operations & AI Automation should have:

  • B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or CS.
  • 3+ years in AI-led process optimisation or smart factory execution.
  • Strong in AI/ML (TensorFlow, OpenCV), automation (PLC, SCADA), and systems (MES, ERP).
  • Insightful senior with strong execution and vendor management skills.
  • MBA or Ops Management background is a plus.
