Job Description

- Product Strategy: Develop a comprehensive product strategy for Prime Home Loans and LAP, considering market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape

- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, assess customer preferences, and stay updated on industry developments

- Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, including defining product features, pricing, and underwriting criteria

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless product execution and customer satisfaction

- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor product performance, competitor benchmarking, KPIs, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and drive improvements; be abreast with regulatory norms

- Budget Management: Manage the budget for product development, incentives, and other related activities

- Business Targets: Work closely with the business team to drive revenue targets & achieve business AUM milestones

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head Product - Home Loans' should have:

  • Over 12 years proven experience in product management with HFCs/NBFCs/Banks in Home Loans, Mortgages and Loan Against Property
  • Deep understanding of the mortgage lifecycle, customer needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and driving product innovation in the mortgage space.
  • Familiarity with mortgage lending regulations and compliance standards (e.g., NHB, RBI guidelines in India).
  • Strong background in working with external stakeholders (e.g., financial institutions, brokers, partners) to enhance product offerings.
  • Strategic in thought, tactical in execution
  • Strong problem solving & stakeholder management skills
  • Qualifications: MBA / Business Management preferred
