About Our Client

Our client is a European MNC in the manufacturing industry. They are looking to hire a Head Legal with extensive experience in a regional role ideally having handled regions in the EU as a part of their portfolio.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage all legal activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to support business objectives.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Advise senior management on legal risks and potential implications.
  • Oversee dispute resolution and litigation matters as needed.
  • Ensure the organisation adheres to corporate governance best practices.
  • Monitor and adapt to changes in laws and regulations impacting the chemical industry.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel when required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head - Legal should have:

  • A degree in law from a recognised institution.
  • Extensive knowledge of legal practices within the industrial or manufacturing sector ideally with operations across European Union
  • At-least 15 years of experience in an in-house set up or mix of law firm and in-house
