The Legal and Compliance Head will oversee the company's legal department, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and handling legal issues pertaining to the Food and Pharma industry.
  • Candidates with 18+ years of PQE and are either Head or Deputy Head Legal apply
  • Candidates in e-commerce, food, pharma, FMCG and consumer tech industry apply

The company is a large-scale digital solutions provider in India, delivering digital services and products to millions of customers nationwide in the food and pharma space.

Job Description

  • Act as a trusted legal advisor to the executive leadership team and board of directors,
  • Lead the organization's compliance function, ensuring adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards across global operations.
  • Handle and manage critical and important legal disputes, litigation and complex contracts
  • Ensure compliance with national and international Food and Pharma regulations
  • Lead and manage the legal department team of 10+ people
  • Develop and implement company policies and legal compliance programs
  • Coordinate with external legal entities and government agencies
  • Stay updated on relevant Food laws, healthcare laws, rulings and regulations

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Legal and Compliance Head' should have:

  • 18-25 years of overall experience and should be heading Legal and Compliance function of an organisation or Deputy to the Head.
  • Open to Gurgaon as a location, WFO/WFH
  • Candidate can come with experience dealing Consumer tech, E-commerce, Food and healthcare industry
