Job Description

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business goals in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Oversee the management and security of IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Lead the integration of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT support and services.
  • Monitor and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in IT processes and systems.
  • Mentor and guide the IT team to achieve organisational objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head IT should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT leadership roles within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in managing IT budgets and cost optimisation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data security standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
