Job Description

  • Develop and implement HSES policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across all operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to promote a safety-first culture within the organization.
  • Monitor and report on HSES performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSES strategies into daily operations.
  • Oversee safety training programs and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to address environmental and safety concerns effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head HSES should have:

  • Educational qualifications in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in health, safety, environmental, and sustainability practices within the industrial manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the industrial sector.
  • Experience in implementing HSES management systems and driving continuous improvement.
  • Excellent leadership skills to inspire and guide teams effectively.
