Our client is a leading automotive manufacturer, stepping onto a transformative growth journey in India.

Job Description

The incumbent will be required to:

  • Work closely with the senior management is constantly improving processes, and developing and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, and activities.

  • Prepare, generate, and analyze ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to personnel information and data, including but not limited to issues such as staffing levels, turnover, absenteeism, compensation, promotions, etc.

  • Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing laws/regulations from an HR perspective.

  • Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

  • Manage and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Work closely with the management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of the success of training programs and ensure that the training objectives are met.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven track record of at least successful 15 years in HR with at least 10 years of management experience in an international/ multinational environment;
  • Knowledge of relevant local laws, regulations, best practices, and culture;
  • Proactive, assertive, innovative, and integer problem-solver who can manage people, conflicts, priorities, time, and stress.
  • Strong experience managing third-party/blue collared employees
